The AVMA Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities® (AVMA CVTEA®) is accepting public comments on proposed changes to some of its educational skills for accredited veterinary technology education programs.

CVTEA Standards and Skills Review August 2025

Comments are due no later than October 15, 2025, and must be submitted through this online survey. 

The proposed changes involve only these standards and related skills:

• Review of proposed CVTEA generated surveys for Standard 11a (Outcomes Assessment)

• Appendix G Additional Review of Section 8 (Laboratory Animal Procedures)
