JAVTE Issue 13 – Publication Date Summer 2024

Do you have an idea for a great article, a teaching tip or discovered an awesome text that would enhance the lives of your fellow vet tech educators? We want to hear from you! Please submit your articles, tips, or book reviews by May 17th for the next print edition of the Journal of AVTE. Have a great tip for teaching a procedure or skill in this pandemic world? We want to hear!

For the next edition, there is no theme however along with research, the selection committee would like to especially encourage the submission of profiles of your SCNAVTA group.

Manuscripts must be submitted to J[email protected].

– Quick Tips: Submissions of approximately 250 words or less on the use of measurements, evaluation, and or assessments in the learning process.

Book Reviews: Submissions of approximately 400-500 words. A book review can be an opinion piece, summary review or scholarly review that provides an analysis based upon content, style, and merit.

- Research Articles: Submissions of 3,000 words maximum. Graphs and data sets are welcome.

-Program Profile: In one or two paragraphs, introduce the AVTE community to your program or practice. Photo submissions are encouraged.

-SCNAVTA Profile: In one or two paragraphs, introduce your SCNAVTA chapter. Photo submissions are encouraged.

Submission Process and Deadlines:

Papers will be reviewed using the JAVTE double blind peer review process and should be prepared using the JAVTE author guidelines (see Editorial Policies and Peer Review Process). Submission of papers is the author’s acknowledgment of and agreement to JAVTE’s ethical duties of the author policy.
