So many veterinary professionals give their all to patient care while quietly feeling overlooked in the rhythm of clinic life. It’s a tension we hear again and again—deep purpose, but little acknowledgment. As educators and leaders, we have an opportunity to change that.

AVTE's Core Concept: One Community

As part of the work of the board and association over 2023, a common theme emerged: One Community.

At the 2024 Houston conference AVTE introduced the One Community as a call to collaboration and engagement. It involves creating a sustainable framework for growth and innovation in veterinary technician education, strengthening students, faculty, programs, and the care delivery system we serve.
